This book is a comprehensive guide to the mental retardation system. It was written by parents and reviewed by the toughest critics; Self-Advocates, Parents, Family Members, Agencies and the Office of Mental Retardation. We have gone to great lengths to insure accuracy and that the book is updated frequently to reflect changes in the system that is important to the people who use it.
Understanding the Mental Retardation System in Pennsylvania is written jargon free, in understandable language. The system is broken down so that you will come to understand the different important components comprising the system and how they mesh to bring us one system.
